Waiting is not my favorite thing in the world. I like to move at a fast pass, although funny enough, I am late to everything. I always think I can get more done in a certain amount of time than is actually possible. Some days my husband hears my to-do list and then suggests we cut the list in half to be more realistic.

I have been in a season of learning to let the fruit of patience develop in my life. I need patience in being a newly-wed, waiting on promises to be fulfilled, and trusting God with the future. I’ve been waiting on the Lord through a very difficult season of anxiety for breakthrough. We all have seasons of waiting. Times we are pressing into God, asking, seeking and knocking. I was encouraged by this quote by Christine Caine, “Don’t underestimate what God is doing in your season of waiting.” Do we rest in God’s timing, in His intervention, in His breakthrough?

Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Psalm 27:14 Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

I have been pondering Dutch Sheets message to us at the 2017 Global Conference. He spoke of the Greek word horaios - meaning beautiful in a timing sense, The Right Time. This word was used in Acts 3 when talking about the lame man at the gate beautiful. The man was at the gate for 35 years begging. This encounter with Peter and John was the right time for his healing even though Jesus and the disciples would have walked by this man maybe hundreds of times. This was the right time for this miracle to cause the city to be saved, over 5,000 or more saved. The miracle validated the message. Just as God had the right time for this man and this city, He has our right times in His hand.

2 Corinthians 6:2 NLT For God says, “At just the right time, I heard you. On the day of salvation, I helped you.”

Indeed, the “right time” is now. Today is the day of salvation.

There were many in the Bible that saw God intervene for them at just the right time.

We serve the God of the impossible who does all things in the right time. Our waiting is not wasted. He will fulfill His promises to us in His time. Wait with hope and expectation.

The Right Time is now for us to be to be alive, awake, alert, and ready for the Kingdom to be propelled through us. It’s the right time for us to trust God with everything and have the correct view of who God is in us. It’s the right time for us to give God our hopes, dreams and brokenness to rest in Him for the breakthrough. All around us people are waiting for the light within us to touch their darkness. Just turn on the news and you can see people that desperately need Jesus. They are waiting for their day of salvation.

It’s an important time to be alive and God placed us in this time in history for a purpose. We say yes Lord to Your Kingdom advancing through us in salvations, signs, wonders, miracles, and awakening. The Right Time is now.
